Lately I have been working on Duke Sliscus the Serpent.
Since GW didn't come out with the model yet I had to kit bash the Duke. His body is from the DE Archon, upper limbs from Dark Elf Corsairs and the head.....Ravenwing Captain.
I gave him a white cape instead of going for a usual dark colour, for I want him to stand out during my raids.
He is definitely in my army list from now onwards.

Day 1 - 3
The Thunder hawk project has finally kicked off. I started with templates that I downloaded from the net and so far it is coming on, quite the way I wanted it to look.

The skeleton of the cockpit almost complete.

Started work on the back part of the gunship. A marine stands there for size comparison.

The main wings can be slotted in so it is easier for me to move it around.
Now to start painting and adding the details.

Somehow I felt that the Space Marine bike for the commander was not 'wild' enough. So I had the bike converted, befitting a White Scar Commander. A little cutting and gluing was done to produce this, with still some finishing touches to be made.

Frontal view....well! That will be the last thing most of his enemy will see.

Sorry to disappoint all of you who were thinking that the Rhino is gonna look all white. Well that would be boring wouldn't it?
The White Scar logo is done free hand coz I hadn't mastered the Decal transfer part yet.
Mr. Jeff Brooks was very helpful on the advice on the Decal transfer and his video on Decal transfers on Youtube was awesome. Thanks Jeff.
Now I gotta get back to the Bikes.....more hobby fun!!!

The White Scar project- Part 1

I got 2 boxes of Ravenwing Battleforce from Alvin and 1 SM Battle force from S'pore PI and soon started working on the bikes. Man, painting white is so tiresome and dirty.

As you can see, I have all accessories needed for the project.

From bottom left, clockwise.... Paints, ashtray, 'Mukukku' in a jar, sand in the dice box, crumpled disposeble glove, laptop(charger) with Metallica...full blast, all time favorite Bugs Bunny water cup, paint brush, and smack in the center are the bikes. You can see the progress from the top, Assembled bikes, Spray painted bikes and the ones with Chaos Black painted on them.

This is how far I have gone.

There it is gentlemen, the DE codex taking a well deserved rest on my table after I was through with it. For those of you that have not read it yet.....man, there are many new characters, unit choices, upgrades etc. My Archon is never gonna leave Commorragh without his Huskblade or Soul-trap.
Asdrubael Vect is on foot now and much tougher and he can choose if he wants to ride the 'Dias of Destruction', a modified Raider.
Lelith is given so much importance, too.
All in all, a well deserved wait for all us DE players.

The first model from Island of blood is complete and trust me there are alots more in the box.
I still need battleforce and some warmachines before I start gaming with them, and of course, I need to finish painting them first!This may take a while (trust me there are alot of them) and hopefully I can game with them by the beginning of next year.
I will be adding a Doomwheel and some othere stuff too.

The Ork 'Chinork'. It is a bit smaller that the original model from Forgeworld, but they are Orks.
No two vehicles will look alike. I have mounted 3 Big shootas and twin-linked Rokkit launcha.

I am quite surprised that I have actually started, not one but two new table-top armies.
One, is the long awaited Flames of War army. The British Punjabi Rifle Platoon is in it's final stages of painting. Unfortunately, I don't know the rules for the FOW yet.
My second army is Battle Fleet Gothic and I have chosen Dark Eldar pirates to terrorize the universe. I have scratch-built 4 Torture class Cruiser and have ordered 12 Escorts, which I hope to see soon. My battle brother, Khairul, the farseer, was kind enough to teach some of us newbies, the rules of this game.

Itching for a Fantasy game?

Calling all those Fantasy players, old and new, to bring their armies on the 15th Jan and 22nd Jan to Legio. I will be bringing my army and we definitely can have a game or two. For all those newbies to Fantasy, may this be a Demo game for you all to watch.
I will also give some tips and teach the rules during the game. So if you have any models lying around please bring them along.
These models need not be painted if you have not done so but atleast assemble them.
Proxy can be used for begginers.
Normal Fantasy game is 2000 points. But just let me know how many points you have and I will accomodate accordingly.
Jeff, Iz and Peter are also ardent Fantasy players, who I am sure are willing to teach a thing or two.

Brothers in arms,
I started wargaming in the year 2004....yup Fantasy. It just happened that I was scratch building a mini bar in my gf's house(now wife) and I needed something to decorate the bar. At that time LOTR was big and I wanted to have to miniature Frodo and gang on top of bar. So, I was hunting for some nice LOTR minis, when I ended up in Wolf's place. His brother Bryan was there and I saw a nice box of Fellowship of the Ring minis.....just the thing that I wanted....WOW! So I enquired the price and this is what he asked 'Do you game?'
Me:Huh? *Blur*...
Bryan:You know, do you paint them and play with them?
Me:Paint? Play? What d'ya mean?

And with that question a new wonderful hobby was introduced to me....
Ogre Kingdom was my first army...and used to play regularly with none other than Izkazri. There were other guys, Bryan(Skaven), Uncle Pete(High Elves), Prabha(High Elves)
Wang(Wood Elves), Rajan(Empire, Tomb Kings)etc etc.
Then I bought a second hand Dark Eldar from Wolf(intro 40K)about end 2006.....from then on, my hobby just grew.Painting, modelling, conversions and terrain building. I have to say there are some thing that I became very good at and somethings that needs improvement.

Sometime in the begining of 2008 I saw a post from Jeff Brooks on Wolf's Website, suggesting for a gamers get together and my arse just blew up.
This is it! This is what all of us gamers were looking for... 'A Cool Hobby Club' and Jeff was kind enough to let us use the factory for this. It was my first hobby club and it is definitely the coolest. I knew, my friend, Iz, will be there.
Met some really cool guys there, too. Azlan,Khairul,Arzmi,Peter C,Kadir,Shazli,Alvin, Md.Faizal,Iqbal....is just to name a few.

Come June 2008... SPORE! My first time, going overseas for a tourney.....my arse blew up for the second time. Alot of new faces, new experience and alot of fun. Furthermore, I won the best painted army! Prize SGD50/-...hee hee hee.
2009 was uneventful for me, I had to juggle between work and play....and work over-ruled play all the time. But whatever the cost I always had Friday nights,Free.
2010 might be the same for me, I guess.
Before I go, I really have to say that my wife has been very understanding and supportive of my hobby, for that I am grateful to her.

I was in P.I. Singapore on last Wed and here is what I got.
Finally, my army bag.....a well deserved treat for X-mas and a month of hardwork,I guess. What is the red box, you may ask, well that, my friends, is a box of Dark Elves Corsairs, which I am gonna convert to....wait for it.......DE pirates.
Now, raise your hand those of you who have shat their pants, at this point.
They look meaner and more spikier that the normal DE.
Hope they make the new DE models like this.
I will be going back there again....coz they have a box of Aegis Defence Lines that I wanna get my hands on. Trust me guys the stuff there is cheaper than in M'sia.

Meet my new jetbike succubus,she has been given a Punisher and a Tormentor's Helm.
This actively increases her attack by 1 and strength by 1.....did I mention that the Punisher is a power weapon?
Therefore, on charging she gets 4st5 attacks which can be boosted for one more attack with combat drugs.

Tips:If you see her on the battlefield.....kill her.s.a.p.

From our well hidden location perched above the hill, Delta 377, we could see and observe the entire battlefield....and what we saw was just insane.
The DE pirates were hidden and well into their final preparation for their hunt,but the Nids knew where to find them and within minutes they were all over the Pirates.
The Broodlord took care of one Ravager,but the exploding ravager took 3 genestealers down with it and a Nid warrior immobilised a Raider with the Dark Eldar lord with his Retinue,the Lord and his Retinue escaped unhurt.
On the southern horizon, hordes of Gaunts swarmed towards the DE pirates.
What happened next is totally insane...instead of fleeing in the face of thousands of Gaunts, the DE pressed forward as if they have lost their mind. The mindless Talos led the attack and held on to a number of Gaunts. The DE warriors perched on hill Lambda 297, kept a suppressing fire until they were swarmed by a horde of Gaunts.
We were still reeling from shock when the answer for their insane courage came in a form of smell....that right...above all the smell of blood,faeces and gore came the unmistakable smell of drugs.

Time check: 1330hrs
Blood,limbs and guts litter the battlefield but the battle doesn't seem to abate at all.
The DE pirates are here for one thing only, get a surviving Nid for the master Haemonculus, and the the Nids have only one thing to do, KILL THEM ALL.
We had to duck for cover from the incoming spore bombs a few times and when we looked up again we saw 3 Hellions diving from above to slice the Spore shooters before being massacared by Lictors...
For the next 3 hours our eyes were glued to a fight between the Dark Eldar lord and the Broodlord. The Broodlord lord tore through the Archon's Shadowfield and decapitated him and the Master Incubus disembowled the Broodlord soon after. The rest of the Genestealers and the Incubi were last seen fighting to their deaths, with blood, guts and limbs scattering everywhere.
Now, I suppose the vastly outnumbered DE pirates will flee but....No.
The Raveners circled the Talos and with one stroke they butchered it.
The Haemonculus rallied 5 warriors,jumped onto a Raider and chased after the unit of Ravaners,who were responsible for the destruction of his beloved Talos. The Ravaners had nowhere to run when the Haemonculus caught up and with a spray of acid from the destructor the Raveners were reduced to lumps of flesh.
Meanwhile, after finishing off the Nid warriors, the Wyches killed the injured Carniflex and were facing a fresh horde of Nids.

Time Check: 1845hrs
We are ready to move to our pick-up locations now.
The battle is still raging at this time with fresh hordes of Nids assaulting from the south....the DE pirates are ready to move out too.....they have in their possession 2 Nid slaves. I still cannot believe why the hell, DE's have to go thru all this trouble for slaves.....hope it is worth all the dead Pirates.

This is a scratch built Super Heavy Skimmer used for apoc games by Sebastion Rubio of USA.

12th Dec 2008 - Dark Eldars raid Legio Malaysia

Dark Eldars were hammered by Chaos Space Marines......

The tactic was to sneek up on the CSM and then to rush in and grab as many slaves as possible.

The plan backfired unexpectedly, the DE were routed and given a well deserving thumping by the CSM. Lelith was killed when her Shadowfield failed her at the last moment and all my disintergrators failed to score any major blow to the CSM.

Well, DE will dispatch another unit this coming Friday 19th Dec for another round of slave raid.

Slave Raid on the Wolffian Desert

While the warriors laid a suppressing fire with the dreaded Dark lances, hordes for Incubi, Wyches and Warriors mounted on Raiders launched the frontal assault.
Backed up by Ravager and the despicable Talos, there was no stopping for the Dark Lord of the Kabal of the Disembowlers.
Hemonculi Aneurysy had the last laugh on that fruitful day.
