Paint your army challenge@The Outpost, Penang

 

Paint your army challenge was mooted by Mr. Kwang of The Outpost, Penang to get the gamers to paint up 500pts of minis. I have the half set of AOBR which was lying around in my house which I decided to paint and give them the Space Wolves look. Added some Space Wolves bits too, except for the commander which I painted with the White Scar look. 

I have not done their bases yet and this is how far I have gone with them. I have about a month left.....that's plenty of time to finish them all..

Paint Station - New look

I found this cool stuff in Mr.DIY shop. It is a sticker which gives you a wood look.
Even the little drawer looks like it is made up of wood.
And yes, it is for sale. Rm249/- including shipping inside Malaysia.

Paint Station - Complete

Completed the Paint Station. I gave it a white paint for a cleaner look and this is how it looks on my table.
As for the question about the sample paint station photo that I posted, I found it on the net and asked Alvin if could bring some in but I think the company turned him down. Reason, they don't export it out of their country.

I couldn't get my hands on this so I had to improvise. Mine (top) is made out of plywood and this is how far I have gotten to.

Slaughtermaster

I am using the Skragg the Slaughterer model as my Ogre Kingdom's Slaughtermaster.
Just finished painting it.

Tugu Legio - Completed

Completed the Tugu Legio last night.
I have changed the flag to a bigger one I got from the old Empire spearmen regiment. Also, added more rocky crags so that the CSM Alpha legionnaire on the right, doesn't look like he is bending down.

WIP- TUGU LEGIO

TUGU LEGIO
As the Legio Malaysia's B'day is just around the corner, I came up with this to celebrate our heroes of Legio.
On top is our standard bearer and the pillar of Legio, Mr Jeff "Salamander" Brooks. A lot of credit should be given to him for tolerating and accommodating the Legio members.
On his left, is Khairul Effendy, represented as his favorite chapter, the Angels Sanguine. He has organized many leagues and tournament in Legio, namely Kindred, a 40K doubles tournament, which is an annual event.
On Jeff's right we see our beloved hero Azlan Ramli. Well, more than half the terrains in Legio belongs to him and without Jeff and him, there would be no Legio Malaysia Chapter at all.
Now on the ground....well that is Arzmi who is represented as an injured Grey Knight, his favorite chapter. He is missing in the gaming scene at the moment but his contributions to Legio will not be forgotten.
On the foreground is Alvin in the CSM Alpha Legion. He is the guy who can quench the gamers thirst for more models. He is the man to look for your need in this hobby/gaming world.
One guy missing is, Iqbal Rahim, Our friendly, photographer and the backbone of Legio. He will be represented by another Chaos Space Marine....work in progress and will post up the photo soon.
Because of all this hard work, I presented myself there also....well that's me in my favorite Chapter, The White Scars.
